General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. General Information
These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") govern the use of our website and all bookings made with venimar, a brand of Ricardo da Cruz, Unipessoal Lda., Rua Sebastião Lopes 14, 4935-233 Viana do Castelo, Portugal.

2. Booking and Reservation Conditions
The following booking and cancellation conditions apply to all reservations unless otherwise stated:

Within 24 hours of booking (e.g. in the event of an incorrect booking): Free cancellation with a 100% refund of any deposit paid.
More than 5 days before arrival, after the initial 24-hour period: The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

5 days or less before arrival: The total booking amount (100%) is non-refundable. Only any tourist tax already paid will be refunded.
Bookings made less than 5 days before arrival: Full payment is due immediately upon booking and is non-refundable. Only the tourist tax, if paid, will be refunded.

House 8: A special cancellation policy applies. The periods stated above are extended from 5 days to 30 days before arrival.
By completing a booking, you acknowledge and accept these booking and cancellation conditions.

3. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Bank Transfer
Credit Card
Cash (cash payments require a valid credit card as a security guarantee)
Payments must be made in accordance with the payment schedule applicable to the selected booking.

4. Check-in / Check-out
Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: by 11:00 AM
Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability, operational feasibility, and an additional fee.
Access to the property before check-in or after check-out times is only permitted with our prior confirmation.

5. Liability
Guests are responsible for exercising reasonable care during their stay and when using any rental equipment.
venimar shall not be liable for accidents, injuries, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings occurring during the stay or while using rented bicycles, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation, its furnishings, equipment, or any rented items during their stay.

6. Bicycle Rental
The rental, use, return, and liability conditions for bicycles are governed by the separate Bicycle Rental Terms and Conditions available on rentals.venimar.pt, which form an integral part of the rental agreement.
 

7. Jurisdiction
These GTC shall be governed by the laws of Portugal.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the courts of Viana do Castelo, Portugal, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to the use of our website, these GTC, or any booking made with venimar.
